A good day

Yesterday was a good day… a morning Zoom meeting with my local Wildlife Trust was extremely encouraging with the organisation being very receptive to working to make a re-wildling scheme accessible to all. Moreover, they want to consult on plans for a refurbishment and expansion of a visitor centre at one of their top reserves. I’m really looking forward to working with them.

Water droplets on aquilegia leaves

It may seem a small thing but a thirty second downpour made the garden look as if it had been sprinkled with diamonds… very pretty. Not enough rain ‘though to allow me to get away with not watering this morning.

Otherwise it was a bit too windy to see many insects and nothing new was in bloom. But its always good to see the riot of colour in mid-summer. This honeybee clearly agrees.

Rant it out!
