Maggie is a genuine arachnophobic. She isn’t just scared of spiders but completely freaks out at there sight… its not a joke. She can bare to see spiders out of doors although she certainly doesn’t like them… but ‘trapped’ indoors with one is a total nightmare.
All the more surprising that she called me into the garden to see the chap on her hand… OK, its small, but size is irrelevant to arachnophobes.
I’m no expert but am sure this is a Clubiona species, probably Clubiona neglecta.
