Winter-Spring Transition

Below more evidence of winter damage and spring growth… but to begin some welcome evidence of nature…

The frogs are rapidly filling the ‘nursery end’ of the pond.

Perhaps less welcome to viewers, I display my need for the lockdown to ease sufficiently to have this growth removed!

Dead osteospermums and dying rose-scented pelargoniums…

Counter-balanced by the simple beauty of Maggie’s favourite flower…

…and more early blossoms…

Elsewhere, plenty of evidence of young leaves and buds emerging from the cold.

Elderberry leaves and rose shoots

Rant it out!
